IN LOVING MEMORY WHY DOGS DO NOT LIVE AS LONG AS HUMANS....... Humans have to learn how to love, this may take many years, dogs are born loving unconditionally, that is why they do not have to stay with us as long. SOME PETS COME AND STAY FOR SUCH A SHORT TIME, LEAVING BEAUTIFUL PAW PRINTS IN OUR HEARTS.......WE ARE NEVER QUITE THE SAME. MAX'S LADY KILLER "KILLER" FEBRUARY 23, 1996 SEPTEMBER 12, 2006 Killer passed away peacefully in my arms at the vet’s office at 7:50am. He was in pain for a short time during the night, but the vet administered a very powerful pain reliever. When he was very near his time, I asked Budda, his childhood sweetheart, to lead him home, he immediately gave one long sigh, and went with Budda. Killer was my foundation stud for many, many years. I will cherish the memory of his loving, playful nature. My heart will always grieve, he will be missed forever. DAM: Suzie (out of MS) SIRE: Max (out of MS) “The Legacy” (author unknown)
When humans die, they make a will to leave their homes and all they have to those they love. I, too, would make a will if I could write:
"To some poor wistful, lonely stray, I leave my happy home, my dish, my cushy bed, my cushioned chair, my toy. The well loved lap, the gentle stroking hand, the loving voice, the place I made in someone's heart, the love that at the last could help me to a peaceful, painless end, held in loving arms.
If I should die, Oh do not say, "No more a pet I'll have, to grieve me by its loss" Seek out some lonely, unloved dog and give my place to him.
This is the legacy I leave behind - 'tis all I have to give." CONTACT ME: judychampion52@yahoo.com |
